Thomas Grange from nextnano Lab attended the ITQW workshop last week in Sicilia, at the Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture (Erice, Italy), and gave a talk reporting our latest research efforts in improving the modeling of quantum cascade devices.
Also it was nice seeing that several talks reported new designs of active regions of quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) and intersubband detectors using the nextnano.NEGF software, including some new wavelength and record temperature demonstration for THz QCL emission.
